Adventures in Wyoming

Here are some of the highlights of my trip to Wyoming last weekend!

Kendra getting the "gunk" out of her pumpkin.

Getting ready to carve!

Marsha helping with Kendra's new room!

Here is the pumpkin that I carved for Joel (unfortunately the Packers lost
that day, so he wasn't too excited about the pumpkin). I thought it turned
out pretty well though!
This is the other Jack o' Lantern that I carved.

Here we are at The Cowboy in Laramie!

Here I am picking out the perfect pumpkin. You will notice that I had to
crawl over the top of a bunch of carts because the pumpkins were
hiding back there. That didn't stop me though!

This is Russell teaching me how to saw a piece of wood (my contribution to Kendra's new room)!

Here we are getting ready to carve our pumpkins!

Here I am riding the "bull" at The Cowboy (a bar in Laramie)!

Since it has basically been "forever" since I have updated my blog, I decided to start with my wonderful trip to Laramie, WY last weekend to visit my beautiful friend Kendra. We had so much fun doing all of the "fall" things I had been wanting to do. We carved pumpkins, drank pumpkin beer, and sipped on pumpkin spice lattes! We also fit in a little partying (as you can see by the bull riding) and a little room building...Kendra just recently moved in with Marsha in Laramie and they are working on building her a new bedroom in the basement. We did our best to help out Russell (Kendra's boyfriend) and his dad Ted, but I think they would have done just fine without us! Overall, it was a fantastic weekend and I was so sad when I had to go back home. The only negative part of the whole weekend happened about 5 miles out of town on my way home...Ms. Leadfoot finally got caught! I got my first speeding ticket since I was a junior in high school...83 in a 65. Pretty much an $84 fine. I am so mad at myself, but what do ya do?? It's not like the days when I was so afraid to go home and tell my parents because they would probably ground me from my car. Nope, those days are long gone...I just have to saddle up and pay my fine and get over it (and hope that my insurance won't go up too much)! All in all it was a fabulous weekend and I can't wait to go back again sometime!
